Hackers have now discovered a new way to steal data.  According to reports, Italian surveillance company Cy4Gate has prepared a fake version of WhatsApp for iPhone.  This fake version installs some sensitive files in the user's iPhone and stores the user's personal data.  In 2019, Israel captured about 1,400 WhatsApp users from the Pegasus spyware created by the NS0 group, including journalists and high-profile people from many countries, including India
